Are GW Libraries open to the public?
Answer
- Because GW is a private institution, most of our services are only available to our faculty, students, and staff. For more detailed access policies, see our Visiting the Libraries page.
- Our Special Collections Research Center and Global Resources Center, however, are open to the public. Reach out directly to each to set up a time for an appointment.
- If you are a neighbor of Gelman Library or Eckles Library, you can request a Friends of GW GWorld card. For more information, see our Local Users page.
